Using Nature to go Deeper with Earth Day

  • Charles H. Mitchell Activity Center Seattle Central College 1718 Broadway Seattle, WA 98122 USA (map)

A mindfulness-based workshop to connect with self & the planet

Earth Day offers the opportunity for us all to reflect on our role on the planet and the ways in which we are developing ourselves and the systems we are a part of that contribute to the health and the vitality of the larger whole of this sacred planet we call home.  Come take the opportunity to participate in an experiential workshop where through guided meditation and individual self-reflection exercises you will explore deeper questions such as, why mindfulness can play an important role for you to connect with self and nature?  Or, have you considered how Earth Day and Spring can breathe new life into projects and initiatives you have taking place currently?  Also, what connections can you make to aid in the ways you are developing yourself?  Using nature as a guide and mindfulness-based techniques, anticipate coming away feeling inspired and holding a newfound appreciation for yourself and your place on Earth.
